What's Mallard raving about today?
Britney Spears, The Media
Doesn't Mallard realize that depicting himself sitting inches from the TV watching Britney news without changing the channel is not so much an indictment of The Media as it is an indictment of him personally and an indication of just how much he is to blame for the situation?
I know...stupid question.

Just admit it, Mallard. You're mad at Fox News for showing this garbage, and you want to criticize them.
You know you want to.
It's fascinating that Mallard hasn't made one smartass comment for the past two strips; he's not even cocking his eyebrow or smirking. He's just staring at the tube.
He's either eating this $#@! up, or he's died in front of the set.
Tinsley has a point. NOTHING MAKES SENSE ANYMORE
So much of the coverage of these loser celebrities is this kind of self-righteous criticism. "Look at this terrible behavior, isn't it bad, blah blah blah, on and on . . ." They pretend to be above it all while they perpetuate it. If the likes of Fox and CNN could refrain from criticizing every stupid thing that every stupid celebrity did, there would be very little coverage.
Unacceptable:
Watching news programs insult Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, John McCain, Mitt Romney, or the bathroom guy.
Acceptable:
Watching news programs insult Hillary Clinton, Michael Vick, and anyone he doesn't like.
Solution: Hillary Clinton should get serious cosmetic surgery, switch parties and release a sex tape and flash her underwearless self in public. Not only does Mallard defend your right to not be insulted for doing so, but he'll even make sweet sweet love to the TV when they show you.
On another note: someone wrote in (a teenager) to the newspaper to complain about the lack of news and how celebrities are there whenever you turn the page of a magazine. Full evidence that some people just look for the real news in the wrong place.
It's 4 AM. Mallard needs help.
