That damned truth

What's Mallard raving about today?

Global Warming, Al Gore, An Inconvenient Truth.

Since I don't feel like wasting another day pointing out the growing desperation of Mallard's attempts to refute Science, I have to ask...wouldn't the sacred words have been revealed by Al Gore in An Inconvenient Truth?

Astounding...Tinsley's actually using the analogy of a religious nut to mock Al Gore and climate-change non-skeptics. That takes guts (if not brains)...or maybe just unfathomable hypocrisy.

...didn't I read this yesterday? Damn he's getting lazy now.

20 to 1 we never actually see Bald Liberal Straw Man's daughter or this boyfriend. He'll just fret about the same thing on Friday and Saturday, then we'll be back to Kentucky Football or Mallard eating Snax in front of the TV again.

Tinshley's invented a new rule of storytelling: "Don't Show, Don't Tell ... Just Bitch."

Yes, rebochan, it's lazy writing again - the same joke as yesterday.

Although, in its favor, it's in fewer words and therefore might actually be funny, if it weren't stupid.

The line "...sacred words as revealed to Al Gore" strikes me as possibly a side snipe at Mormonism; Tinny's previously commented on the ludicrousness of God revealing his Word to Smith, when everybody (including God) knows that God only revealed his Word to the Founding Fathers of the Bible...

Truth
1) Al Gore is a politician
2) Al Gore is not a scientist
3) I never saw an Inconvenient Truth
4) I don't really like Al Gore
5) I think the movie is blatant propoganda, one-sided and biased to all hell
6) I can read scientific peer-reviewed journals online by real scientists including those accused of being shills of big oil.

...7) I still think man's contributions to global warming are significant, and that it is wrong to not advocate such measures that would improve our enviroment. Bluntly put: I believe in Global Warming.

Kind of undermines Mallard's little straw man. Boggled your mind yet Tinsley? I bet you get your info filtered by politicians. I also bet you think it's real and "peer reviewed" that way.

Exanonymous, don't you realize yet that you don't actually exist? Everyone in the world has chosen one of two sides: either "global warming exists and is at least partially caused by human activity" or "the idea of global warming was made up by evil people who hate America, God, and humans, and if God is making the planet warmer, that's fine with me. More summer!"

Once all humans sorted into one of these two categories, they lost all ability to except any point from the opposite category, or refute any belief of their own. So clearly, you are a figment of my own imagination.
