That damned media

What's Mallard raving about today?

The Media, John McCain, Barak Obama.

John McCain has critics in the media? Really? No, I mean it...seriously?

Oh, and backwards it is "tnenoppo ym" which only sounds like "white people smell funny" in certain altered states. So apparently, the point of today's panel is that John McCain supporters are peyote fiends.

This is the most visually pleasing MF in a long time. Mainly because, aside from the magic talking rectangle, there is no drawing involved.

In this day and age, with so many advancements and chances, it is amazing that people still find corners to fight from, crying unfair prejudice and using victimhood as their prime weapon to dominate.

I'm not talking about Obama and race.

I just find it hugely ironic that Mallard transitioned from a day mocking Obama's claims to victimhood to claiming victimhood itself. The liberal media by definition hates conservatives, just as the conservative media hates liberals.

One question: What color is the sky in Bruce Tinsley's world?

A couple almost-too-obvious to mention points:

1] As our gracious host points out "McCain's critics in the media" is close to an oxymoron.

2] It's hardly the media playing this game. Other than an aside by Obama about reasonable expectations about the tone of the upcoming campaign --and the hysterical, but predictable, distortion of those statements by the neocon noise machine-- this is pretty much a non-issue.

3] If the neocons really want to discuss the "real issues" why don't they simply address the other 99.99% of the points that Obama discusses rather than this sort of drivel.

Again Bruce shows in subtle ways that he genuinely doesn't get it when people call him on his white privilege. Again with the mocking of discussions on racism. Mmm-hmm. He probably really does think white heterosexual men are discriminated against in America.

Yeah, if McCain has so many goddamn critics, why is it anathema to make the self-evident point that being shot down and held as a prisoner in no way qualifies him to be President? For a critical stance, this is awfully damned timid, I have to say.
