That damned Obesity

What's Mallard raving about today?

Obesity, NBC News.

Seriously? This is what is pissing you off? Seriously?

Boy, it's a good thing Tinsley himself has never bemoaned obesity himself--otherwise we'd have definitive proof that he's an incoherent fucktard who doesn't care about anything but whining about whatever crossed his bleary-eyed radar.

Wow, Geo...that second strip is just sad. It's like you can feel Tinsley crying in an empty bar after his DUI, "They're all mean, those...fat jerks!"

In other news, does every liberal Tinsley draws need a giant chin? Hopefully he never does one about Leno's new show. The strip would just be a giant chin, which admittedly, would be fairly easy to draw.

That obesity is partially your own fault, Mac Tonight!

The viewer should be watching FOX which has stories about stories about nuts.

And stories about how no one else has stories.

And stories about mean everyone is to them.

I would rather comment on the three-year-old strips that GeoX linked than today's installment.

American schoolchildren are the least likely out of whom to identify those states on a map? Out of all schoolchildren worldwide? Out of all Americans?

It's odd that Tinsley's vitriolic tirade against policemen (who are all too fat and lean to the side 45 degrees) came five weeks BEFORE he was arrested for driving with a BAC twice the legal limit.

Hey, maybe Tinshley's put on a lot of weight or something, and is feeling sensitive about it.

Anonyloser, can you take that thing out of your mouth and glance up slightly to check?

Nothing particulary incisive to say here (I think GeoX pretty much sums up my feelings), but I had to post because the enormous synchronicity of today's WV for me:

fatche (no, really!): Who Tinkley might be writing about in this strip if Guevara were still alive.

"Because we have no stories pretending that the town hall protesters aren't a ploy by the insurance industry or how the teabaggers aren't batshit insane, we'll just read a month's worth of Mallard Fillmore on the air...."

@Rewinn, As compared to any other day when there supposedly is a joke?

Oh for phuck's sake:

Prick City is calling the CDCs the center for disease histrionics so it can push H1N1 denial.

I sure hope someone related to a person already dead from H1N1 knows the bastard and lets them know how appreciated that is.

Daveyk lighten up. Seems to me that the liberals are the ones who are "pissed off." BT is taking a very light shot at NBC which is only one member of the "state run media" who play the same game.

With all the corruption and lies which come from Obama and his crew, NBC will run stories about over weight folks. When no one really cares if someone is fat. NBC will not touch negative stories about Obama. This is what BT is saying.

Example: The legend in his own mind, "The Bam", said Thursday, "But this is a new day. It is a new era. And I am proud to say that the United States has done more to promote clean energy and reduce carbon pollution in the last eight months than at any other time in our history." I suppose all the networks agreed with the man.

He said it, so it must be true. My God, the man is a miracle worker! Does anyone actually buy this load of crap? Think NBC bought it? You betcha!

Or how about this NBC. Obamacare, buy insurance or go to jail...
"Sen. John Ensign (R-Nev.) received a handwritten note Thursday from Joint Committee on Taxation Chief of Staff Tom Barthold confirming the penalty for failing to pay the up to $1,900fee for not buying health insurance."

"Violators could be charged with a misdemeanor and could face up to a year in jail or a $25,000 penalty, Barthold wrote on JCT letterhead. He signed it "Sincerely, Thomas A. Barthold."

Anonymous: I believe you're projecting the Bush administration's media-manipulation techniques--for example, raising the color-alert level to divert headlines every time they screwed up--onto the media itself. (The Bushies also used it, I recall, when Bill Clinton was honored with a parade in Yugoslavia for, you know, having actually liberated a country.)

It's okay. We know you're desperate.
