In memory, I won't comment...

Yeah, I'm sure you get just tons of emails from senators and governors and Federal circuit court judges, all shaking their fist at you like you're the fuckin Scooby gang.

On the other hand, this is the extremely rare strip where MF is, roughly, correct. So here, have a scooby snack.

Is each word balloon from a separate strip? Or is he really saying that the Powers email him, saying "Don't honor the dead"? Oh, wait, I get it! He's an egotistical douchebag!

I..ok wow. I agree that he has the right to say what he wishes. But..to compare being called a moron to those who have actually fought and died for the country? To treat them as the same thing, that is more than arrogance, that's honestly one of the more disrespectful things that I've seen. The only thing that pops up in my mind for comparison is when a fundy is told that others have a right to speak they scream that they're being persecuted just like the early christians. I'm not sure if I feel more pity for them at living in that kind of world or anger at their self righteous indignation.

So, does anyone besides Tinshley think those in power actually read this POS?

"According to your e-mails, there's something 'politically incorrect' about the frequently-bigoted horseshit I spew very day...(.)"

"...But lookit me, ma, I speak TRUTH to POWER! No, seriously, I do! I'm number one on Obama's ENEMIES LIST! Don't you shake your head in pity at me!!! HE KNOWS WHO I AM!!!"

"This year, I didn't forget Veterans' Day! So there, you... What?! Memorial Day? Who cares!! It's something I can wrap around myself and play True American First Amendment Martyr: ...Negro has death panels!! Huh huh huh huhhuhhuhhuhhuh!!!"

I mean, the inset panel even looks like one of those freakin' portraits some self-aggrandizing blowhard would have made of himself.

The drop shadow-casting frame (that Mallard somehow still rises in front of) should have an inscribed plate with the title "The Patriot, Wielding His Mighty Weapon" or some other piss-ant waft of Limbaugh-grade flatulence.

And yet this supposed Free Speech Champ worships scumbags like Ann Coulter who have declared that anyone to their left should be rounded up and executed---a position he will only occasionally and vaguely allude to himself because he's not nearly as bold in real life as his grand portrait might lead you to believe.

Wow -- delusional self-importance AND phony patriotism. You go, ducky!

No, seriously -- GO, ducky. You're making us all nauseous.

Has anyone ever been so self-important with so little basis for being so?

Prick.

"You know, I may be a pusillanimous little untalented crapstick who completely deserves the universal opprobrium that's directed my way on a daily basis by both the influential and those who read my work, but at least these guys died while I cheered on the people who sent them to their fates!"

Even by Tinshley's regular earthworm's-asshole standards, today's strip is low.

If I were a soldier dying on the battlefield, I would sure as hell be pissed off if the thought crossed my mind that I was dying for Tinsley's right to produce a crappy comic strip like Mallard Fillmore.

That is all...

Thin-skinned alcoholics like Tins are the last guys you want in a foxhole when the enemy starts firing.

1. Can you name one person in power who is more than vaguely aware that Mallard Fillmore exists? I can't think of a single elected official who has said word 1 about it.

2. Claiming that a white killer can't get a fair trial in America because the blacks will riot, as Mallard Fillmore did a few weeks ago, is liked crapping your pants in public: yes, it may be called "controversial" but it is nothing to be proud of.

3. When not even Regnery publishing will generate some fake sales of Mallard Fillmore books, you know you're a failure.

4. To "Wrap Yourself In The Flag" is an ancient tradition of the disreputable, but Bruce Tinshley is wrapping himself in the graves of our troops, which is below disgusting.

Dare we ask Mallard when the last time was that an American soldier, sailor, or marine actually died defending our freedom? Certainly not the poor bastards who were killed or maimed for life in Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, or Korea.
