That damned Challenge

What's Mallard raving about today?

Barack Obama, Secret Service, The Media.

I'm not actually certain this falls under the Secret Service's mandate, but Mallard may know more about oral-anal contact than I do.

"Oops... I forgot to tell a joke."

Tinsley seems to have forgotten that Mallard is a comic strip; this one is just partisan rage, pure and simple.

Seriously, Tinz -- If this is any indication, you won't survive the next four years.

WV: Ramsess: The wife of Moses' pharaoh.

I'm not sure, but I'm beginning to suspect that Republicans think the media loves Obama.

But, as I said, I'm not sure. 100 more strips on the same subject might help.

Now let's wait for Tinsley's variation on the "If global warming is real, how come it's currently cold outside?" theme.

I love this comic! Not because it's funny, insightful, or even rage-inducing.

It has officially broken the taboo on ass-kissing in newspapers. FINALLY, Rex Morgan has something to do with all those men on that boat, Cherry has another desperate ploy beyond redoing her hair, and Spider Man can have a new way to be beaten by bad guys in his lame rehashing.

There is much fun to be had, at least until Pluggers gets in on the new trend. Then, it's time to dunk my head in a vat of bleach.

It's going to be a tough adjustment, since for the last eight years the press has generally smooched Commander Codpiece from the front.

Rex Morgan, Eskimo Spy!

I commend you all for having the good taste not to respond to today's "comic" with any Jeff Gannon jokes.

WV: quank = quacking skank, a.k.a. Mallard

Gosh folks, give Tinkley some credit. I'm sure that a few weeks after watching Sean Hannity lovingly tongue bathe the commander's codpiece like an overpaid fluffer, Tinkley published a scathing indictment of the media's unseemly infatuation with President Bush. Right...right?

Even Tinsley can no longer remember many "New Year's Predictions" gags he's churned out. Perhaps he lives in some sort of "Groundhog Day"-like amnesiac state, where he awakens each morning with the same hangover and the same empty box of Snax next to him, spilling its crumbs between the sofa cushions.

Smart move by Obama to hire an Orc in his Secret Service.

Holy hell.

It's a two-panel strip.

There are TWO. PANELS.

More tired 'Media loves Obama' bullshit. Hey, whatever it takes to keep you from breaking down and crying over all the wedgies you got as a kid, Ducky.

WV: riteof. Seems apt.

The media are also scratching Bush's and Cheney's backs by brushing any mention of war crimes under the rug.

Robert, Robert, Robert: you're forgetting Rule Number One:

"When a Republican does it, it's o.k."

(For example, when a Republican uses a mild obscenity in a "comic" strip, e.g. "kiss butt" .... it's ok! But if you or I show disrespect to the Commander in Chief, we're supposed to move to Canada.)

Wait, wasn't the last Mallard "joke" about Obama throwing TEH MEDYA off Air Force One?

BT - Good comic today. The drive-by media has been kissing "The One's" ass for the past year.

Mallard followers,
Something to think about...

Chicago.... Who Runs it?

Senators: Pres Elect Barack Obama & Dick Durbin
Representative: Jesse Jackson, Jr.
Illinois Governor: Rod Blogojevich impeached this week)
Illinois House leader: Mike Madigan
Illinois Attorney General: Lisa Madigan (daughter of Mike)
Chicago Mayor: Richard M. Daley (son of Mayor Richard J Daley)

The leadership in Illinois ? .....all Democrats.

Thank you for the combat zone in Chicago.

Body count in the last six months: 292 killed (murdered) in Chicago
221 killed in Iraq.

State pension fund - $44 Billion in debt, the worst in the country.

Cook County ( Chicago ) sales tax -10.25% highest in country. (Look it up).

Chicago school system - rated one of the worst in the country.

Of course, they're all blaming each other. They can't blame Republicans because there aren't any.

This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois. And he's going to "fix" Washington politics for us?

Mmmm. Tasty, tasty guilt by association there, Anon. Nicely done (even though you cut-and-paste it, unattributed, from American Conservative Daily).

Tinzanonyous is a plagiarist on top of everything else? Color me shocked. Hey Anny--when kids in my classes do that, you know what I do? I FUCKING FAIL THEM. I can't stand that lazy, creatively bankrupt shit. But you know what? They're still better than you. At least they're just trying to get an easy grade. They're not mindlessly regurgitating talking points in support of an agenda that they claim to support yet are incapable of saying anything intelligible about.

How's it feel to know that the dumbest college freshman is still smarter than you?

292 killed (murdered) in Chicago

Unless you include the people that the GOP charmingly call "sand niggers" in the Iraq death toll.

But why would Republicans do that? They don't think Iraqis are human beings.

happy_go_lucky said...

The GOP would have to understand what it means to be a human being.

Normally I ignore Anonymous Coward Tinkley since he's just giving himself strokes (... a peculiar form of internet sex ...) but

There was an intelligent comment about by Anonymous3:56 (who is obviously not Tinkley since he shows compassion to fellow human beings).

Therefore let me point out:

* Population of Chicago: over 2 million.
* US troops in Iraq: 140,000.

Tinkley plagiarizes from people who are bad in math!

As Geox sez: "Color me shocked"

And, let us not forget that the plagiarized number includes ONLY troops who died of their wounds in Iraq. Those who survived long enough to make to Germany or to Dover, DL and then died ... don't count. Those who committed suicide at home, sometimes taking wives and/or cops with them ... don't count. Those who ... aw, but why bother. Tinkley obviously enjoys our contempt so why feed him?
