That damned Logo

What's Mallard raving about today?

President Obama.

Reflexively & unthinkingly opposing everything the President says and does != No accomplishments.

I thought he was an evil Muslim dictator fascist from Kenya who was going to turn the country into a communist regime with his socialist programs (or was is a socialist regime with his communist programs?) And that he was replacing all DOJ people with those who favor only blacks, handing out reparations, blocking out all news media, indoctrinating children, shoving Obamacare down our throats, creating a billion czars who will rule us all with no accountability, and one day he was going to join the ranks of Stalin, Mao, or Hitler, with his legion of thugs, union members, and ACORN.

But now he's accomplished nothing? Isn't that a good thing in wingnutopia?

Is this the best you can do, Batshit? Talk about lack of accomplishment...

So I guess he didn't turn the Justice Department into a militant Black Power organization with Mickey Mouse ears, then?

I don't know if Bush's middle initial should qualify as a logo, but his 2000 and 2004 campaigns both used a specifically stylized flag, which is at least as iconic as Obama '08's "Pepsi/farm" logo.

First Avian-American Cartoon? nope.

First conservative Cartoon? double nope.

Laziest cartoonist since Calvin Coolidge? okay, maybe Tinkley has ONE accomplishment!

P.S. I don't approve of the health care reform bill's corporate-friendly elements, the stimulus bill gave too much away in tax breaks that did nothing, the withdrawal from Iraq is going too slowly, cash-for-clunkers should have had a buy-American component, and so on .... but these are accomplishment none-the-less.

He's taken the country into the abyss of socialism by changing everything, AND he also hasn't accomplished anything! Is there no end to his multi-cultural evil?

As far as Tin's concerned, the last president was the guy from "Death Valley Days."

It's true, you know. Obama hasn't ignored security warnings resulting in the deaths of thousands of Americans, or started unnecessary wars of adventurism based on trumped-up evidence, or eaten cake with John McCain while a major American city was inundated and left in shambles, or allowed unscrupulous Wall Streeters to turn the nation's economy to shit! He hasn't even fallen off a Segway, for crying out loud! What does he do all day?

On a related note, yesterday Dylan Ratigan showed the commerical that Dan Quayle's demon-spawn is running in which he claims that Barack Obama is "the worst president ever". In rebuttal Ratigan rattled off a list of president that might be considered worse. He mentioned Hoover, Johnson, Jackson, Grant, and a couple of others. HE NEVER ONCE MENTIONED GEORGE W. BUSH. WTF?

Mallard's promise to "keep an eye" on Obama doesn't seem to be working; he missed the most significant medical reform in decades, and economic stimulus bills that have (so far) kept the U.S. out of a depression. He must have been too busy complaining about daytime TV to notice.

This is absurd. Obama's proud legacy includes escalating the debacle in Afganistan, sending predator drones to kill civilians in Pakistan, continuing a host of unconstitutional Bush-era policies and the PATRIOT Act, saying almost nothing when Israel murdered peace activists, including an American teenager, and spending billions we don't have. That's a full plate of accomplishments!

I think we need a new term for this type of fantasy content, in which the author* depicts the world the way he wishes it were, rather than how it actually is. "Fanfic" doesn't really apply, since Brucie's clearly not a fan of Obama (or reality, for that matter). Since it's a form of wish-fulfillment, maybe "wishfic"?

*Speaking generically, of course; I would never be so absurd as to describe Bruce Tinsley as an "author".

Why are you people all so critical of Mallard Fillmore?

Seriously.

It makes no sense at all.

For one thing, while he was the president, he was in no way as important as "Captain Carrot" and the rest of the Zoo Crew.

But a duck president was an innovative idea for DC, in my opinion.
