That damned Stereotype

What's Mallard raving about today?

Teabaggers, Occupy Wall Street

I think it's absolutely hysterical, and an indication of the absolute intellectual bankruptcy of the Teabaggers, that their main response to OWS is jealousy.

Tebaggers are proving that they have no actual policy underpinning. They are a movement whose only purpose was as a media attention whore to allow Fox, the Koch brothers, and the Republican Party to lie about having populist support.

My, Batshit's come such a long way from bawling about how white people get screened by TSA agents when "everybody knows" they never commit acts of terrorism.

The situation is exactly the same, except about how OWS protesters actively resist and disown the violent elements who show up and try to act like they belong there.

Theeere it is: "The tea party doesn't deserve to be characterized as a whole by the actions of a few extreme nutjobs, but OWS does."

Your form is nearly flawless there, Brucie. Unfortunately, Fox News isn't going to offer you a job any more than Sarah Palin was going to leave her husband for you.

And even when you compare extreme nutjobs, taking for example a guy pooping on a police car vs. a guy bringing a gun and a sign about watering the tree of liberty with the blood of "tyrants" to where the President of the United States is speaking, I'd still say OWS comes out looking a lot better.

wv: pabla, plural of pablum. If Brews can ever get another publisher to sell a collection of his loosely-labelled work, he can call it Mallard Fillmore's greatest pabla.

Hey guys?
Uh, I don't think Bruce thinks very highly of the OWS movement.
Anyone else getting that impression?
I dunno, I might be reading to much into this week's batch of strips.

Tea Party who?

Have you seen any Tea Party rallies lately? Anyone rallying to demand that Congress stop oppressing Wall Street?

I mean, outside of Congress?

Some of the "extremists" of the Tea Party are paid an honorarium to come on stage and give a prepared speech.
