That damned potato

What's Mallard raving about today?

Potatoes, Political Correctness, Greetings.

If I may summarize, Mallard's "premise" today is that using the English language is not politically correct...and this message is delivered by a talking potato. As a result of this premise, he accuses an unnamed group of people (or potatoes) of not thinking.

Let me put it another way...after having a potato claim that using the English language is racist and/or sexist, Mallard accuses someone else of not thinking.

Attacking political correctness in 2008 is about as cutting edge as VHS-vs.-Betamax arguments...

A baked potato.

Ladies and gentlemen, Bruce Tinsley has just attempted humor through absurdism. Be afraid.

And how many times a day does Tinny himself rely on that "everyone knows that if you look at it in a certain way" bit?

That is, after all, the way he justifies his Laffer Curve and Grand Cowfart Theory baloney-bafflings; similarly, he regularly cites Google, Jonah Goldberg, and other less-than-flawless "sources" to back up his daily garbage.

Talk about "baked"...or maybe just "half-baked"...

I think the saddest thing of all is when stupid people think they're being clever.

If a potato ever started talking to me and looking like that, I would shoot it.

Or stab it a few time with a fork and pop it in the microwave.

Hey! Maybe that's why I'm a PC Feminazi Lieberal! I eat the PC-police potatoes!

I don't think he's implying the potato is not thinking. His message is that all the damlibruls count on the opposition to "not think" to win and push their absurd standards of cultural sensitivity.

Because they have no premise and all that. Blacks should be slaves, women can't vote because they're emotional manipulative idiots, everyone who isn't a redneck is a terrorist, and people should be allowed to outright state that certain people of a certain homosexual orientation should be burned alive, and Ann Coulter is the epitome of sexy while O'Rielly is the essense of intelligence. Any thinking person can clearly see this.

That's a very Caucasian-looking baked potato. Around here, we cook 'em till the skin's a little charred and really crispy, so the skin's great with a little butter and salt.

Mmmmmm, baked potato skins ...

Oh, sorry. What I'm saying is that if his baked potatoes are that pale, then apparently Tinshley is as good a cook as he is an artist and humorist.

This cartoon is a slur on all right-thinking potato-Americans. Why did he have to use a potato? If he wants to portray someone who is habitually offended, he's got MALLARD FILLMORE. There isn't anyone who is offended more often than that stupid duck.

Maybe he figured we were looking at his standard strawscribbles, so he came up with a new one.

It's not as awesome as the turnip, because the turnip was mute.

Dammit, Tinsley, first you grotesque-ify our beloved BSU Bronco -- now you're maligning our potatoes? Do you want to turn Idaho liberal?
