Those damned Enemies

What's Mallard raving about today?

President Obama, Voters.

Wow. Fox, Rush, & Mallard...Delusions of grandeur, Mallard?

Although, a pitch perfect water-carrying of their talking points, I admit. Note the fact that he ignores what exit polling said about voters approval of Obama in those two states. And no mention of NY-23?

Umm, ok. So Mallard figures that Obama has an enemies list and all the right wing are on it. I am still somewhat trying to understand what the hell his idea is here. Since so far the closest thing we've seen to an enemies list is him calling out critics and ignoring Mallard. I find this strange, since if that's the case then almost anyone can be said to have an enemies list when they confront those who tell them they do a poor job.

After a week of baying about Obama's "war" on FOX News, Tinsley fantasizes that Obama gives a rat's ass about Mallard.

...Hey, he DID tell a joke!

So now we're at the elections.

You know, it's hilarious because the evidence is basically that neocons declare victory if there is even an election. They either win because the American people are behind them, or they lose because the American people are behind them but some outsiders interfered.

After all, they are still in denial about the presidential election.

"Enemies list?" And Mallard's on it? Ha ha! Tinsley can't spell "enemas"!

vc: waste;
What Mallard does to comic space that could actually be improved by running Garfield a second time.

Tinshley once tried to compile his own enemies list, but it was easier to compile a friends list:

* That one bartender who doesn't take his keys.
* His defense attorney.
* Any kid who doesn't tattle to his Mom.
* Walter Williams.
* Veronica Mars.

And that's about it. (Sorry, Anonyrast -- he'll never kiss you on the mouth, no matter how many times you do it to his ass.)

In its first gubernatorial election after Reagan became president, Virgina elected a Democratic governor (Charles Robb).

Therefore Virginia must have gone onto Reagan's enemy's list - and Obama is like Reagan!

(P.S. extra points to Tinkley for "Fox, Limbaugh, Fillmore" ZOMG LOL!)

Okay, Tinsley, time to put your money where your mouth is--obviously, Obama doesn't like propagandists like fux news, and assholes like limbaugh, and he might even dislike you a little if he had any clue you existed. But can you point to any evidence that he's ever actually done anything with this big scawy enemies list that you're so sure he has? Have any of the "enemies" been censored? Locked up? Anything? Because, otherwise, it looks like this is just another opportunity for you to whine about being persecuted...without actually being persecuted.

Sarah Palin, Carrie Prejean, and Mallard Fillmore walk into a bar. The bartender asks, "What is this, some kind of joke?"

"No joke," says Palin. "We're hidin' in here from all the evil liberals who are out to get us by puttin' us on their enemies lists and attackin' our freedom of speech also, you betcha!"

"Oh," says the bartender, "so it IS a joke."

Allow me to just note that I feel tremendously psychically healed to have a sidebar comment for the first time ever. Should I put that on my CV, do you think?

That "...walks into a bar..." joke is great (I love the genre!) but you left out the part where the bartender warned them to avoid the angry drunk drawing cartoons...

... however, I find it very plausible that those three would go drinking together:

* Mallard Fillmore: fake duck
* Carrie Prejean: fake boobs
* Sarah Palin: just plain fake

Oh please! If Obama really did keep an enemies list, does Tinsley really think he'd be important enough to be on it? What an ego!

Should Mallard's delusions of grandeur be treated before his delusions of adequacy?
