Let me guess: Mallard's little asterisk leads to an article bawling and shrieking because the media still isn't completely taken over by neoconservative talking-points regurgitators. WHEN WILL THERE BE A "FAIR AND BALANCED" PLAYING FIELD FOR WRONG WINGERS?!? WHEN WILL THERE BE JUSTICE?!?
...Assuming one can even find said article, of course. Regulars know Batshit likes to pull stuff out of his ass and claim there's an article presenting evidence of same.
He wants his paranoid fears to look real, but fears mockery when his nutbar sources are shown, so the asterisk is larger than the text that follows it.
Yeah, he seems to be trying to say something along the lines of "grrr librul media," but it's so poorly-written that it's very difficult to tell. I realize that being a really great cartoonist is difficult because few people are able to both draw AND write effectively, but is it really too much to ask that people who are incapable of doing *either* stay the hell away from the profession?
Ooohh, "*Source: MRC.org"! Yeah, sorry, Brucie, but the lying sacks of garbage at the Media Research Center don't count as a credible source of information. About anything.
WV: swoonr: What Brucie becomes when he sees a bottle of Wild Turkey.
The media that cheerleaded the illegal invasion of Iraq based upon obvious lies may indeed have an ideological diversity problem. Question any assumption that powers the Military Industrial Complex, and you won't work in any of its media again.
Somehow I don't think that's what Brewsky was meaning; he's never with one word opposed our endless wars or the savaging of our nation's honor, lives or treasure in support of them.
I means, yes, it IS an offensive, derogatory, dehumanizing loaded phrase, but it was ours.
Re asterisk: I have a pretty sweet monitor. It's a nice size, and the resolution is about as crisp as one can reasonably expect. I mention this, because his source is ILLEGIBLE. Were it bot for browser zoom, I couldn't begin to read it. I can't imagine trying to read it in newsprint format. Whatcha trying to hide, Ducks?

Heh
The asterisk sure does lead to one of those librul-media tantrum sites!
"Keep tabs on the liberal media from your inbox"
Oh, there's just so much wrong there it makes me laugh.

Yes, yes, Bruce, we know you yearn to use your preferred terms, like "greaser" and "wetback." Now run along.
"Oops, I forgot to express a coherent thought!"

I wanna point out that Tinsley hasn't updated his twitter feed since November. He's almost as good at tweeting as he is at cartooning!
