That damned criticism

What's Mallard raving about today?

Emails, Criticism, President Obama.

What a poor little Right-Wing martyr!

Only problem is that criticizing people who had no power or ability to impact our lives worked fine for Mallard prior to 2006 when he was rampant in criticizing Democrats and Liberals. At the same time, not a word of criticism was uttered about the Republicans who held power, even though they (in the words of Matt Taibbi):
"...castrated the political minority, abdicated their oversight responsibilities mandated by the Constitution, enacted a conscious policy of massive borrowing and unrestrained spending, and installed a host of semipermanent mechanisms for transferring legislative power to commercial interests."
Elections have consequences.

A. The only email you get from Obama supporters consists of well-earned mockery. You do you think you're fooling?

B. MF only constitutes "criticism" in the same way that the drunk sitting next to you who won't shut up about the Jews controlling the media until he throws up on your shoes and passes out is a "critic." They're both equally trenchant.

C. "Whoops! I forgot to tell a joke!"

Psst.

Mallard, you might want to contact Rush Limbaugh. He hopes the president fails. Which means by a minuscule leap in logic, that this powerful, influential man will bring people in the country down when he fails.

Or is it really that disconnected?

(side note: even though I never voted for Bush, I never hoped that he would fail, the reasons being obvious. And one should still question authority because authority unquestioned remains authority unchecked.)

I'm pretty sure "Dramatic Re-enactment" is code for "made this shit up".

Still, good luck with your continuing fight against fictional libruls, Mallard. Also, since you've now vowed to criticize only those who have miniscule impact on the way of the world, does this mean you'll be getting a bit more introspective about your own comic? Just curious.

Blallard presents his audience with a classic false choice. Kind of a refreshing addendum to his usual blend of hypocrisy, ignorance, and relentless bitterness. Rather like garnishing a turd sandwich with anthrax.

WV: anduceng -- offering false choice as unreason or a psuedo-proof in an analysis or discussion

Yes, we said "How dare you criticize our lord and savior Barack Obama?" and just to make it even more hypocritical, we didn't send the same thing to the Daily Show. (Of course, those criticisms have been based in a little thing called reality.)

If yesterday's "comic" revealed that Tinkley's memory is bad, today's shows that his reading comprehension is low.

All through the lying, felonious and incompetent administration of W, his ilk told us not to criticize the president because he was the president! So if anyone now feeds that line to him, it's an ironical reference to Tinkley's own past practice. Perhaps alcohol has dulled Tinkley's prefrontal cortex where such things as irony and humor are processed.

The problem with Mallard Fillmore is not that it criticizing any particular person, but that Mallard Fillmore's political commentary is mendacious, misleading and stupid. He's better with the "girls-have-cooties" jokes.

Do you know anyone who is unwilling to criticize Obama and anyone else in power if they lie or make other decisions that hurt America?

Criticizing things that have little to no impact on our lives? Come on, Mallard, you'd do that anyway. For god's sake, you devoted Obama's first week entirely to collectibles.
