That damned Generation

What's Mallard raving about today?

Generations, Language.

So in 20 years Mallard Fillmore will still be around and the only change is that he'll be wearing glasses?

Sorry folks...I can't keep this up for 20 more years.

Oh, I don't think you have to worry about that, Davey--especially if Tinsley's personal life reflects the atrophying subsistence of Mallard No-Friends, who can't even be arsed to fire up the barbecue or go see Dave anymore. Hunched in front of the TV with a box of crap every night? Twenty years? Ha!

Liberals and especially conservatives have demanded generational distinctions in their nomenclature, Tinsley. So why did you focus on African-Americans for your non-joke? It certainly couldn't be because you're racist, because you're obviously not!

Also: after all those strips jumping up Reid's ass, you're handing him a tailor-made excuse for the very words over which you've feigned concern.

I'd wager you didn't even realize this.

20 years from now? It's a long time to wait for the starey-thing to be found dead in a chair in front of a TV. Maybe he means Duck years, and it'll happen in 2012.

How many days has this been going on? "(Mis) quoting Democrats out of context" is pretty much all these people got left.

Were there a week of Mallard strips each on Limbaugh's NFL commentating career, or Imus' "nappy-headed hoes" quip?

Look, this is a non-issue from a month ago. We should cut him some slack for being an Irrelevant-Cartoonist-American.

Yeah, before, I was giving Tinsley the benefit of the doubt about the "being a racist" thing, but for christ's sake this is the only thing he seems to care about, this whole "I am not a racist, but..." thing.

He really is a pathetic soul.

Considering I hear the N-word on almost a daily basis I don't really think we've come that far in political correctness.

The term "African-American" dates back at least 30 years. I don't see why it would become obsolete within only another 20 -- but then, if I did, I'd probably be a brain-damaged alkie like ... oh, right.

So, in 20 years, Ducky is still sedentary in front of the TV (which looks to be 40 years old, big spender) with the same box tucked away in a roll of fat.
Basically, Ducky has not changed his life in any way over 30 years. Fantastic.

Based on Mallard's logic, the real racists are every member of the NAACP. They should rename it the NAAAA.

No need to keep it up for 20 more years, Davey. Just save your old blogs and have a picture of yourself wearing glasses put in it somewhere.
